Housed within a building, whose history goes back to the Roman empire, the Museum hosts several masterpieces such as paintings by Italian artists, sculptures, ivories and ceramics, jewelries and glasswork, furniture, drawings, texts and archeological findings. Organized on four floors, the visit to the museum takes you from the basement to the treasure towers in a discovery of works from middle ages to renaissance, from the Seventeenth to the Eighteenth century, in what looks like a travel through time.
